Refuse The Silence blog is a space for people to share their ideas, experiences and perspective on the state of academic institutions in the United States and its impact on the women of color who attend them.
We are always looking for bloggers who can speak on, Academics, Social Life, Sports, Activism, Campus Community, Mentoring, Sex and Sexuality, or Race and Class Privilege on Campus. You are more then welcome to focus on specific topics within that.
We like to get straight to the point so we ask that our writers keep blogs between 250– 550 words.
If you are interested, send an email to refusethesilence@gmail.com, and let us know what topic you would like to write about, how often you can write (once a week, once a month, erratically, one piece, etc) and for how long (a year, 6 months, 2 months, etc).
We look forward to reading your work!
